The Maxey PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is "to promote a closer relationship between parents and teachers, thereby encouraging cooperation in the education of Maxey Elementary School students and developing, between parents and teachers, such united efforts as will secure for all School students the highest advantages in physical, cognitive, social, and personal development."*
