Mr. Boswell reported that Maxey is the only elementary school in Lincoln that is accredited by the North Central Association, and that Maxey received high marks on the accreditation report. Mr. Boswell thanked Tracey Peterson for her leadership and for bringing everyone together throughout the accreditation process and the parent volunteers that helped with the process.

Old Business

Nature Night, May 21st, will be the Kick-Off for the outdoor classroom project. Volunteers are needed; please contact Chris Kiewra if you wish to help. Funding of a track, to be installed around the lower soccer field, was approved by the PTO. The 1/5 mile cement track will cost approximately $28,000 and could be expanded to 1/3 mile at a later time. The track will be maintained by the district because it is cement.
