Maxey has two newsletters with important information regarding school activities:
- The Maxey Messenger, the official school newsletter, sent weekly.
- The Mustang Matters, the PTO newsletter, usually sent biweekly.

In order to reduce soaring printing costs, both newsletters are sent out as digital copies via email as PDF documents. In order for you to receive these documents and other school related information, you are requested to "subscribe". You may do this as follows:
Subscribe by sending a message, from the address you want subscribed, to "join-maxey-messenger@lists.lps.org" without the quotes. The subject and body of the message should be blank.

Although Maxey encourages you to subscribe to receive these documents and other school news online, Maxey will continue to provide families hard copies upon request. Hard copies can be obtained by notifying the secretaries or Melanie Schilousky at 436-1153. Requested hard copies of these publications will be distributed to "oldest and only" students on Wednesdays.
